Online Learner Workshop

The Online Learner Workshop is an introduction to the D2L Brightspace learning system for all students. The workshop is available as a course and will appear under the MyCourses module.

The workshop can be completed in a couple hours and will teach students how to navigate Brightspace, submit assignments, take exams, etc. While there is no requirement to complete the workshop, we recommend it to any student who has not used Brightspace to take an online class.

Brightspace Mobile App

The Brightspace Pulse app is available in the Apple and Android app stores. D2L Brightspace is optimized to display beautifully on any screen size; there are no sacrifices when users are accessing Brightspace from a phone.

The compatible web browsers with D2L Brightspace are Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Do not use Internet Explorer.

Respondus Lockdown Browser

Students: Your instructor may require you to use Respondus LockDown Browser for exams or quizzes in Brightspace. Your exam will prompt you to install or update the LockDown Browser before you begin.
